Another recipe I HAD to share. It take minutes to throw together and you’ll love it if you love chicken tacos.
1 or 2 lbs Chicken breast – uncooked or even frozen
1 Large jar salsa
2- Packets (1 packet per pound of chicken you decide to use) of Chicken Taco Seasoning Mix 0.85 oz (or taco seasoning mix, whichever you have on hand)
LAYER IN YOUR SLOW COOKER, THE SALSA MIXED WITH THE SEASONINGS, TOP WITH CHICKEN ~ COVER. YOU’RE DONE.
SLOW COOKER on HIGH for 4 hours (IF USING FROZEN CHICKEN) OR Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours if at room temperature. Shred chicken and mix up with the salsa sauce.
Now, here comes the fun part – making your tacos. I use soft shelled tacos and add whatever you like for toppings:
-Pico De Gallo
– Sour cream
-The list goes on……
